During the week of the Fourth of July, we celebrated our nation's independence with a group of international students from over twenty countries.

“Our VISION is to provide relaxing, modern, comfortable, clean, and
well-maintained facilities that foster spiritual renewal, personal growth,
leadership formation, learning and fellowship for individuals, families, and groups”.

“The Prothro Center at Lake Texoma VALUES our ability to be a safe
haven rooted in Christian love in which to experience God’s presence;
grow in Christian discipleship; and allow all our guests and visitors an opportunity to develop an appreciation of God’s many gifts”.

WHO WE ARE

The Prothro Center at Lake Texoma is a ministry of hospitality owned and operated by the North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church.
We open our hearts, minds, and doors to our fellow Methodists as well as our guests and visitors who come from various other denominations, families, organizations, educational institutions, and businesses.
